Collaborative Video
The Delta Police Pipe Band kindly invited us to participate in a collaborative video in early 2021.
A heart felt thank you to the DPPB for including us in their special project as it commemorates their 50th anniversary as a Pipe Band.
We are privileged to share this moment with them and wish them another 50 years and more.
So, after a few years of painstaking labor by the production crew of the Delta Police Pipe Band, here is the final product for your viewing pleasure.
The music is "The Game of Thrones" theme song and has been specially written by Scott Robertson to include every instrument of a pipe band, even a guitar (our Trevor Uprichard) and a fiddle.

Lastly, "A Tip of the Hat" to our very own Pipe Major Rob Heggie.
It is his long-standing friendship and relationship with the DPPB that lead to our participation in this project. Any accolades or praises should be directed to him.

The creation of a video such as this is a complex collaborative endeavor. In this case the music track was done as a separate audio piece recorded in a very precise set manner so every piper's audio file would gel when combined. The video files were done separately with or without audio so the fingering would match with the audio during the short Piper exposure in the video. Regrettably none of those audio files are available for your listening pleasure. See below a variety of videos with or without music to align the fingering for video audio purposes. Note how piper's struggled with the "Click Tracker" to align their fingering to the medley.
Of special note is the Drum Section who had to learn new beatings for this piece and our very own Trevor Uprichard who plays the solo guitar.
